{"id":119,"date":"2014-07-21T15:17:38","date_gmt":"2014-07-21T19:17:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.metcorp.org\/?p=119"},"modified":"2014-07-24T20:17:26","modified_gmt":"2014-07-25T00:17:26","slug":"microsoft-directaccess","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/adsecurity.org\/?p=119","title":{"rendered":"Microsoft DirectAccess"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Microsoft DirectAcess has made great strides in Windows Server 2012.<\/p>\n<p>Key Points:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First available with Windows Server 2008 R2.<\/li>\n<li>Built-in client support for Windows 7 and newer.<\/li>\n<li>Provides always-connected connection to corporate network (connects before the user logs on).<\/li>\n<li>Leverages IPV6 and 6to4 tunneling (additional configuration required when using Windows Server 2008 R2 as the DirectAccess server).<\/li>\n<li>Windows Server 2012 simplifies the deployment process.<\/li>\n<li>Client authentication can leverage Kerberos or certificates.
